Menu & Products
Inside the Manager app, you can manage your store's menu, categories, and product items in full autonomy. This section is essential to ensure your 3D menu is accurate, well-organized, and up to date for your customers.
Menu Structure
Replate’s menu follows a clear and flexible hierarchy:
Menu: The complete collection of your offerings
Categories: Sections like Starters, Mains, Desserts
Items: Individual dishes or products within a category
Variants: Optional variations of an item (e.g., size, portion, flavor) — shown only when editing/viewing the item
Each element can be created and reordered to match how you want your menu to appear on the Web Menu and in-store systems.
Adding and Managing Products
You can create a new product from scratch or import one already saved in another store or previously archived.
Once created/imported, the product will appear inside the assigned category and can be edited at any time.
Products without a 3D model will show a white disk placeholder in the preview — this helps you quickly spot items that still need to be scanned.
If a 3D model is missing, a "Model missing" banner will appear with a quick link to start scanning.
Tapping a product opens the preview screen, where you can see the current state of the 3D model or its placeholder.
Item Actions
Each product card has an action menu with the following options:
Hide: Temporarily removes the product from the Web Menu without deleting it
Edit details: Opens the item’s name, description, price, and category settings
Scan again: Starts a new 3D scan process to update or replace the current model
Delete: Permanently removes the item from your menu
Some options like “Duplicate”, “Reposition”, or “Share” may be disabled or context-dependent based on the product state.
Managing Categories
Tap a category name to edit its label or view details about its assigned items
At the top of the screen, you’ll find:
Add button: Create a new item or category
Search button: Quickly find items by name
Categories Order button: Open drag-and-drop mode to change category positions
Long-press a category in the reorder view to drag and place it in a new position
The same drag behavior is available at the item level inside each category, allowing you to reorder how items are displayed to customers
